Welcome to the West Virginia Society for Respiratory Care!  The WVSRC is a chartered affiliate of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).  The WVSRC is the professional organization for respiratory therapists practicing in the State of West Virginia.  The WVSRC provides leadership to the state profession and offers educational seminars continuing education credits for education and training of respiratory care professionals.


The West Virginia Society for Respiratory Care, a 501c6 non-profit educational organization, invites your organization to exhibit at our annual 1 1/2 day Fall Health Care Conference at the Holiday Inn University Area, Morgantown, West Virginia.


Date of the conference: September 18-19, 2019 (Wed/Thurs)
Location: Holiday Inn University Area, 1188 Pineview Drive, Morgantown, West Virginia.
Suggested arrival time to set up booth: Tues. Sept 17 after 4:00 pm; or Wed. Sept 18 from 6:00 am-7:00 am

Conference hours: Sept 18: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm; Sept 19: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm
Estimated number of attendees: 100
Number/size of tables per booth: One 6-8 ft. table per vendor unless additional requested and purchased
Number of chairs: 2
Tablecloths: (standard white provided by facility)
Participation fee: $600 per vendor - includes registration for up to 2 staff
Note: Exhibit area is separate from the lecture area for continuing education units.

By Mail: Complete the attached Exhibitor Registration form and return it with check payment.
Online: Register and pay online using a major credit or debit card with our online registration.

Discounted conference rates are $99/per night for 2 Queen or 1 King bed. Please call the hotel directly at 304-241-6649. Please provide the Group Code: SRC to receive the discounted rate. Rooms are released to the public after September 4, 2019.

RT Student Scholarship Opportunity

The West Virginia Society for Respiratory Care is offering five $120 scholarships to eligible students.  To be eligible you must be in your last year of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program in West Virginia, which are listed below.  There will be one winner from each of the five schools. In the event not all schools have representation we will divide $600 equally among the winners. To enter please complete the attached form and email it to Rodney Vest at rodney.vest@wvumedicine.org by 11:59 PM December 31, 2019.

Your application will be reviewed by select members or past members of the WVSRC, who are not staff members of any of the Respiratory programs, and they will be blinded to your name.  They will only see your school and application 1 as an example.  If you have any questions about eligibility, please discuss with your program instructors.  The winners will be announced at the WVSRC Winter Conference at Canaan Valley in February 6-7, 2020.  You do not have to be present to win.  Good luck!
